Shipping Policy

Payments by credit card will be shipped only to the billing address shown on your credit statement.

Corporate purchases are excepted from this policy, but a signed purchase order form will need to be faxed in to us.  For large orders over US$1000 we may require some additional documentation.

Items usually ship within 5 business days unless you have been otherwise notified.  Items are shipped via Canada Post by ground or air depending on the size and weight.  Arrival time will depend on your distance from Toronto, Canada but can be anywhere from 1 week to 3 weeks for major destinations in North America.

Credits and Refunds

If you are not happy with your purchase, you can return the item for a credit or a refund.  Credits and refunds are limited to the price of the item and will not include shipping costs.

Warranty

New items carry a warranty as specified by the manufacturer.  Depending on the item, warranty claims can be handled at a local authorized depot, directly by the manufacturer, or through Montek Electronics.  Regardless of the item, Montek Electronics will assist you with your warranty claim.

Where shipping is involved, you are responsible for shipping costs to return the item.  Items returned under warranty to Montek Electronics will be repaired or replaced and then returned to you freight prepaid.  Items returned under warranty to a manufacturer are subject to the terms of the manufacturer.

Please note that due to restrictions imposed by Canada and the United Nations, we cannot at this time trade with the following countries:

Afghanistan
Angola
Iraq
Myanmar (Burma)
Rwanda
Yugoslavia

Any orders from the above countries will be cancelled or refused until the trade restrictions are lifted by Canada and the United Nations.
