Trackpoint Caps

These trackpoint caps have a fuzzy, "Cat's Tongue" surface that improves control of the mouse pointer. The rough texture keeps reduces slipping, and will last much longer than smooth trackpoint caps. This is a replacement for the IBM 84G6537 trackpoint caps used in the Thinkpads. These trackpoint caps work in the following laptops:

IBM Thinkpad * Mitsubishi * Gateway * HP Omnibook * TI * AST * Micron * older Toshiba Satellite * newer Compaq models.

The trackpoint caps will also fit desktop keyboards equipped with a Trackpoint device, such as the IBM Trackpoint II or Trackpoint IV keyboard. These trackpoint caps fit a square post.

Please note that trackpoint caps come in different sizes. Inside of these trackpoint caps is a two-stepped square. The outer square is 4 mm, the inner square is 3 mm.
