Learn how timers work with the Mini Electronic Timer kit. The kit includes easy to follow assembly instructions, a schematic and all the parts needed to assemble the timer circuit.
The mini electronic timer is built around the popular 555 Integrated Circuit. The timer enables the output when the power is applied to the circuit. The output is disabled it after the preset time interval. You can adjust the timer from a few seconds to the maximum of 10 minutes.
The mini electronic timer can be used to drive a small load directly, but for larger loads or high voltages, a relay should be used. The circuit will operate on 9 to 12 volts DC, and draws 20mA of current. A 9 volt battery clip is included.
