This FM radio tuner will receive signals from 88MHz to 108MHz. The circuit operates on 9 Volts DC. The circuit is based on the TDA7000 IC which keeps the circuit board size small.
The TDA7000 is a complete mono FM radio tuner on a chip. The only external circuitry required is the resonant circuit to select the reception frequency.
The tuner circuit requires a separate amplifier circuit to drive a speaker or earpiece. Visit our amplifier kits section to pick a suitable preamp or amplifier with line inputs. The output of the tuner circuit is capacitor coupled.
