BIX Punch Down Tool

The BIX Punch Down Tool is the only tool required to terminate cables, pigtails or jumper wires on all GigaBIX and BIX connection products.

The BIX Punch Down Tool is a spring-activated hand tool. A single forward movement will seat the wire into the BIX IDC clip and cut off the excess wire. The tool will terminate 22, 24 and 26-AWG plastic insulated solid copper conductors.

The BIX punch down tool can be set to cut or not cut the wire using the selector on the handle. When in the no-cut mode, wires can be bridged across multiple contacts.
